Jurģis Kmins

After receiving an MA from the world-recognised FAMU Film School in Prague, I got a chance to shoot my first feature film. It brought me the IMAGO Best Emerging Cinematographer award in 2019. Since then, I have shot three more feature films, both visually different and bold, yet I still work extensively in commercial production. Driven by a story, I always strive to produce the most nuanced visual storytelling for each project. Through years spent in narrative filmmaking, I have accumulated an exceptionally versatile experience, which allows me to work across various genres while keeping images visually striking, organic, and cinematic. Video for Zebra Katz MOOR won UKMVA best alternative video newcomer award and Tommy Cash Racked is nominated for best international hip-hop video award.
